Thai parliament to vote on new Prime Minister

Thailand's opposition alliance has nominated its candidate for prime minister. Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit will face off against incumbent leader Prayuth Chan-ocha in the May 5 vote.

Thailand's parliament will vote on a new prime minister on Wednesday, over two months after elections were held. But new rules written under the current military government can make this a very lopsided affair. I'll explain.
